After the long weekend, Ocean View School District welcomed its students back to campus to begin the school year.
Star View Elementary in Westminster began its year in a newly redone campus after a modernization project was completed over the summer. The school has a fresh landscape, new classrooms and lounges and major infrastructure replacements as well as technology upgrades all throughout.
OVSD is one of the last districts in Orange County to return to the classroom, with only Fountain Valley School District and Huntington Beach City School District left to return later this week.
