Julia Walton received her MFA in creative writing from Chapman University and her bachelor’s in history from UC Irvine. When she’s not reading, talking to herself or making blanket forts with her kids, she’s indulging in her profound love of Swedish Fish, mechanical pencils and Hobbit-sized breakfasts. Her novel, “Words on Bathroom Walls,” was published by Random House in 2017 and will be coming to the big screen as a film adaptation produced by LD Entertainment, helmed by director Thor Freudenthal, with a screenplay written by Nick Naveda. Julia lives in Huntington Beach with her husband and daughters and teaches a workshop on writing the young adult novel at Orange County School of the Arts.
