Festival Fashion: What people wore to In-N-Out Burger’s 75th Anniversary

In-N-Out Burger celebrated its 75th anniversary in style this weekend in Pomona, California. Long time fans of the California based burger chain came together to celebrate the big day that featured a car show, carnival rides and live music. Attendees also used the event as an opportunity to wear their vintage In-N-Out shirts as well as make their own outfits from fabric they’ve owned for decades.
Joanna Stein from North Hollywood, California had owned her In-N-Out printed fabric for decades. The day before the event she decided it was time to turn it into a dress for the anniversary festival. Before making her way into the In-N-Out Museum with her husband Matt and son Kristofer she spotted someone wearing similar fabric.
Turns out Stephanie Reed had purchased the fabric around the same time as Stein but in black instead of blue and made it into a dress. Reed and her family have a lot of love for In-N-Out. Her father Jeff Helmrich just retired at the age of 71 after working at In-N-Out for 45 years as the Manager of Technical Service. His next adventure? Visiting Iceland, thanks to In-N-Out Burger.
