Temecula Prep volleyball player Abby Pekrul is the Southern California News Group’s High School Girls Athlete of the Week for Oct. 23-29 after she received 88.37% of the vote at the deadline Thursday.
Peninsula’s Isa Bringas (tennis) received 8.14% of the vote to finish in third place. Portola’s Kenzie Nguyen (golf) finished third at 2.33%.
