We asked our photographers to choose their favorite moments from June 2022, and here are some of the moments they selected.

Graduation was the theme of June. High schools around the county finished their educational year and sent thousands of young people into the world.

Protests erupted in the OC over abortion and gun rights. Planned Parenthood of Orange & San Bernardino Counties organized several concurrent protests including one at Main Beach in Laguna Beach. In Anaheim, March for Our Lives supporters protested gun violence during a march at Pearson Park.

After a two-year in-person hiatus, the Orange County Pride Parade came back in colorful fashion in downtown Santa Ana. After the morning parade, there was a festival to celebrate OC’s LGBTQ community including; concerts, community-building activities and art exhibits.

As the month closes out, seniors at Laguna Woods donned various types of 1960s fashion and hit the dance floor during their annual Woodstock music festival.
